Message	designed and tested before they were sold. However, we have built a few engines with Ross pistons and they rattle. They have a different kind of rattle to them though because they are a much heavier piston and have significantly thicker skirts. The noise they make almost sound like a rod bearing is going out, a low pitch clunk clunk.. The original wiseco pistons make a higher frequency note, just slightly lower than lifter tick.. From what I have heard though, the JE piston is a good design and doesn't have any issue.
